Abstract :
This brief proposes a generalization of the class of “dynamic translinear”, or “exponential state-space”, circuits. As an illustration of the proposed general class of dynamic translinear circuits, the brief describes the design of a second-order translinear filter that does not fit into the existing classification of exponential state-space filters. The externally linear behavior of the designed filter is demonstrated by means of simulations
