Abstract :
A few important questions pertaining to the "superlens effect" described are posed that certainly deserve discussion, such as: 1) deterioration of a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) during enhancement or "restoration" of evanescent waves originating from the source and 2) the physical processes responsible for the enhancement as well as the limitations of the superlensing set by losses.
