Abstract :
A small signal simulation algorithm for converter circuits is developed. It is based on the sensitivity matrix used in the shooting method. The algorithm is efficient and is able to predict small signal response accurately at all frequencies. A modified version of the algorithm can also simulate the beat frequency effect when the frequency of the input excitation signal is close to half the switching frequency
