Abstract :
From mobile devices to warehouse-size datacenters, power and energy are important system design considerations, impacting electricity consumption, the ability to cost-effectively cool the system, and overall reliability. Achieving the next order-of-magnitude improvement in power management requires a holistic approach to how to study and reason about energy efficiency and how to optimize system design across traditional implementation boundaries.
