Patrizio Colaneri [People in Control]

In this issue of IEEE Control Systems Magazine, we speak with Patrizio Colaneri who is a professor of automatica at the Politecnico di Milano. He was a control engineer for two years at Elettromeccanica Parizzi before starting as a faculty member. He served on the editorial board of Automatica for six years and he is still serving as subject editor for International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control and senior editor for IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control. He is a member of two technical committees of the IEEE Control Systems Society and chair of a coordinating committee of IFAC. He has coauthored several books and over 200 journal and conference papers, and is a Fellow of IEEE and IFAC.
