Abstract :
This paper proposes a general procedure based on discrete event simulations in order to evaluate the impact on the electrical distribution system for a given commercial building when several charging points are installed. An operator policy is also implemented in some test cases. The results show a significant load increase in the daily load profile under a specific penetration percentage of Plug-in Electric Vehicles.
