Abstract :
This article presents the results of the model tests that studied the behavior of the Chinú SVC, installed in the Colombian 500 kV system. The article presents the selected results of the simulations and field tests completed during fault research, fault mitigation analysis, and corrective activities performed at the TCR of the Chinú SVC.
