Abstract :
The visualization scientists at Mississippi State University, working with the computational oceanographers at the Naval Research Laboratory, designed and implemented an interactive, real-time visualization tool called cthru. The cthru system, which provides visualization in a virtual environment, gives researchers the ability to alter model parameters and communicate these changes to the ocean model calculating the solution. The paper discusses the implementation of the cthru system
