Abstract :
The commenter points out that the method outlined in the above-named work (ibid., vol.32, p.408-10, Aug. 1989) is a powerful one that has been taught by many people in electrical engineering education for several years. It is useful in obtaining the equivalent circuit and in illustrating what is meant when it is said that two circuits are equivalent. In addition, it is pointed out that this technique has been published in at least three textbooks.<>
