  • Abstract
    Colombia have experienced the benefits of Bus Rapid Transit systems around its cities. In this paper we describe a transit signal priority architecture for BRT based public transport systems. Multiple implementation scenarios are shown in order to deploy the priority system in diverse cities with different needs and requirements. NTCIP is used as standard communication protocol for interoperability with multiple traffic control devices.
