Abstract :
The mix of academic and practitioner authors in the IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management is apparently an item of recurring interest. Repeatedly, the question is asked: “Why can´t we get more papers from practitioners?” The question remains unanswered in spite of unvalidated statements to the contrary.
