Abstract :
ZTE Corporation announced that it has successfully demonstrated what it claims is the industry´s first ever multiple access binding solution (MAB) in a live demo at Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona. The MAB solution signifies how user equipment (UE) can simultaneously bind multiple radio access technologies. The company successfully demonstrated binding of long-term evolution (LTE) and WiFi on a single UE through unified authentication by ZTE´s universal subscriber profile platform. It then bound multiple access technologies using an integrated serving gateway built on the advanced service router platform.
