Abstract :
This work presents an experimental procedure to verify if a model of vector hysteresis, the DPC model (Della Torre, Pinzaglia, Cardelli), based on the Preisach theory, can be identified for a given material. The identification can be achieved only if the material has a magnetic behavior in agreement with the properties of congruency and deletion which characterize the model. Finally, we show some results obtained on a sample of commercial nonoriented magnetic steel.
