Abstract :
Periodic arrangements of nonlinearly loaded scatterers (unit cells) are important components in phased array antenna systems, frequency selective surfaces, metamaterials, etc. For instance, metamaterials loaded with non-Foster circuits can exhibit enhanced bandwidth of operation (P.-Y. Chen, C. Argyropoulos, and A. Alu, Phys. Rev. Lett., 2013).
