Abstract :
A novel two-dimensional ESPRIT algorithm-two-dimensional virtual ESPRIT algorithm-based on a special sensor array geometry is proposed. The new algorithm achieves very accurate estimates at very low computational cost since the estimation accuracy can be improved by adjusting the array aperture
