Abstract :
An InP based arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) demultiplexer monolithically integrated with a novel slab polarisation compensator has been designed, fabricated, and tested. The compensator effectively eliminates the polarisation dispersion of 5.1 nm without introducing any additional processing steps
