Abstract :
The multistage linear receiver of Moshavi et al. (1996) was designed to approximate both decorrelating and MMSE detectors by calculating a weight set using a procedure involving the inversion of a large matrix. Very recently, Lei et al. (1998) and Kim et al. (1998) proposed analogous simplified systems. The author proposes a modified simpler receiver with fixed weights, exhibiting promising results for high bit rate hardware implementation
