Abstract :
A fast tunable filter with two output ports for 32 WDM channels is proposed. By using only the centre port in wavelength routers with larger free spectral range for the wavelength multi/demultiplexer, low loss and low loss imbalance can be achieved with a reduced number of optical gates. Channel selection is demonstrated for 100 GHz-spaced 32 channel selection
