Abstract :
The author proposes a novel optical device for tunable add-drop multiplexing. The device is based on a Bragg grating assisted MMIMI-coupler. The analysis is based on the mode propagation theory. Polymer planar lightwave circuit technology is presently the most promising technology for realizing this kind of device.
