Early Transatlantic Communication on Cape Cod [History]

This consideration played a very significant role in some interesting communications developments that took place on the Cape in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Reading about Hertz´s work stimulated Marconi to do some wireless telegraphy experiments of his own. In spite of what may have been some initial theatrics, Marconi´s venture proved successful.
