Abstract
Receiver structures which overcome the nonlinear separation problem in a DS-CDMA system are presented. They are based on linear programming and the radial basis function. When a bank of matched filters is applied for preprocessing, the received DS-CDMA sequence is, under certain circumstances no longer linearly separable
