Abstract :
Signal-to-leakage-plus-noise ratio (SLNR) based precoding and regularised block diagonalisation (RBD) precoding are two notable linear precoding schemes in downlink multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. The equivalence of these two precoding schemes is demonstrated. Moreover, an efficient algorithm is developed to implement these two schemes, which has lower complexity than the existing algorithms.
