Abstract
The introduction of a reliable system of electricity to a Children´s Centre in rural Uganda was essential to tackle a problem of lack of light in the early evening for schoolchildren to do their homework and for staff to prepare their lessons. It would also provide power for small appliances, fridges and small cookers as well as making the Centre a more appealing place for potential staff.
