Abstract
In this paper is presented a very brief overview of important integral equations in electromagnetics and of numerical techniques for solving these equations. Emphasis is to be upon the many lessons learned by the author and his colleagues as they - at least, he - struggled to understand how to formulate equations amenable to numerical solution methods and how to develop efficient and robust techniques for solving these equations. The presentation will be in three parts.
