Abstract :
The determination of the characteristic impedance of stripline filled with different dielectric regions is discussed. Four rectangular dielectric regions whose interfaces are perpendicular to the ground planes are considered. Data on the characteristic impedance and effective dielectric constant are presented for the case of a stripline filled with four rectangular regions having different dielectric constants. Results for impedance are compared with the data in the literature. Design data (w/b ratio and effective dielectric constant) are also presented
