Abstract :
An oriented control system is proposed that is very useful for monitoring the orientation of the dental drill and the patient´s head during dental implant surgery. The system incorporates an angular sensor for improved accuracy. Correct orientation assures an accurate implant and provides for the recovery of normal dental function, which include esthetics, speech, chewing, and comfort.
