Abstract :
To find a single constant state feedback control law that conserves both concepts of stability and performance robustness is the purpose of the paper. The uncertain linear systems considered are described by state equations which depend on parameters subject to large variations. The developed procedure results in designing a regulator having optimal performance for each of several operating modes of the system, as well as determining the largest set of parameter variations. The algorithm for designing such a regulator is illustrated and applied to two examples, showing the efficiency of the proposed technique.
