Abstract :
Wavelet Analysis is a promising signal processing method currently used in many applications. In this work, it is used to detect and visualize ADC errors obtained from real prototype measurement data of a 14-bit SAR ADC. Both Continuous Wavelet Transform (CWT) and Multi-Rate Analysis (MRA) methods are examined and their relation with Short Time Fourier Transform (STFT) is given. MATLAB´s Wavelet Toolbox is used for calculations. First studies show that wavelet analysis can be used for analyzing ADC errors.
