Abstract :
We demonstrate a suspended-core ytterbium-doped fiber laser passively mode-locked with a semiconductor saturable absorber. Gain and anomalous dispersion simultaneously provided by the active fiber allow for 95-fs 1-μm all-fiber soliton oscillator.
