Abstract
This paper describes an instrument which will compare the Q of echo boxes, or any similar high-Q cavities with two independent couplings, at any wavelengths between 9.5 and 11 cm. The accuracy of such comparisons is of the order of ± 5% unless special precautions arc taken when it may be increased to about ± 2%. Suggestions for the improvement of the overall accuracy are made.
