Abstract :
Implementing and using computer graphics and modeling systems rely on mathematical operations on points and vectors. This article shows how to use those concepts to derive and implement common graphics and modeling operations that maximize speed and numerical reliability. Vector geometric techniques represent and manipulate intrinsic relationships between objects, independent of coordinate systems. Their applications and the resulting computer code demonstrate their usefulness
