Abstract :
Two new results are presented for intersymbol interference in raised-cosine filtered communication over an additive white Gaussian noise channel: the interference due to roll-off factor mismatch is negligibly small, and a reasonably accurate approximation formula for the bit error probability is derived for matched roll-off factors
