Abstract :
The electromagnetic properties of strip-array systems, which are composed of periodically arranged thin superconducting strip lines in perpendicular magnetic fields, are theoretically analyzed based on the critical state model. It is shown that magnetic field and current density of the strip-array systems in the critical state are obtained using simple transformations of those for an isolated strip line. Theoretical expressions of magnetization and ac susceptibility of the strip-array systems are presented.
