Abstract :
A high-frequency analysis of the bipolar common base configuration is developed with particular application to the design of low-input-impedance optical fiber receivers tolerant of source capacitance. The results show dependence on transistor type and operating parameters, indicating that careful choices may be necessary for optimum performance
