  • Abstract
Substantial improvement for absorbing radiating waves in simulations with the two-dimensional beam propagation method can be achieved by introducing two new pairs of Higdon operators in the complementary operators method. The new boundary condition allows the elimination of the second-order reflections arising from the truncation of the computational domain.
