Abstract
The steady flow of plasma along a structured atmosphere may cause the enhancement of existing surface modes and the generation of new surface wave (SW) modes. This paper discusses the dispersion characteristics of magnetohydrodynamic SWs along a stationary incompressible plasma slab surrounded by moving incompressible plasma and neutral gas. The dispersive curves for sausage and kink modes are also discussed. The result may help in studying more complicated cases.
