Abstract :
This paper presents a method of modified noncoherent detection. We compare the proposed method and coherent detection with practical channel estimation on Rayleigh fading channels. We obtain simulation of secondary synchronization signal on both time-invariant and timevariant channels. Our simulation results explicitly show that the performance of the proposed method is better than coherent detection with practical channel estimator even if timing error exists.
