Abstract :
The proposed method obtains the data of virtual reference points and received signal strength in the service area. Then, the AP location is estimated using the measurements based on the one of the several localization algorithms such as inverse distance weighting, iterative least square, and direct solution methods. The performance of the proposed method was evaluated using the error analysis, simulations, and experiments. Performance results show that the arbitrary deployed APs can be searched and localized efficiently using the proposed method.
