  • Abstract
    In this paper, five different voiced direction command recognition is realized in real-time. Speech detection step is performed on voice recordings that includes five different direction commands. Mel frequency cepstrum coefficients (MFCC) and Linear Predictive Coding (LPC) coefficients are utilized to extract feature vectors and training data set. k-nearest neighbor classification algorithm is used at the testing stage. The testing stage is realized with recordings from voices that included in the training data set and also with the voices that is not included in the training data set in real time. In the discussion, the results of the offline and online test are compared. All the studies are performed in the MATLAB environment.
