Results of an international intercomparison of microwave power in waveguide R 140 (WG 18, WR 62) at 15 GHz among some standardizing laboratories

Five standardizing laboratories agreed to carry out an international intercomparison of microwave power at 15 GHz. The transfer standards were barretter and thermistor mounts; the quantity to be measured was their effective efficiency. The measurement results are presented in several diagrams and one table. Good agreement of the measured values was found among most participant laboratories. The deviations of the weighted mean value were-with only one exception-smaller than 1.5×10^-3. The mean fluctuations of the measured values of each transfer standard-averaged over the measurement values of all participating laboratories-were smaller than 10^-3.
