Abstract :
A type of thermal converter based on thermopiles fabricated in silicon planar technology using the standard bipolar process is presented. At 10 MHz an AC-DC difference of less than 500 p.p.m. has been measured. The measured temperature coefficient of the device varies smoothly from approximately +500 p.p.m./K at 25°C to approximately -800 p.p.m./K at 100°C.
