Abstract :
I usually do not like to write about myself in these columns but this one will be an exception. By the time this issue is published, it will be the 50th anniversary of my graduation from engineering school as an electrical engineer. Aside from the fact that I find it hard to believe that the time has passed so quickly, I am also amazed at what has happened in engineering and specifically biomedical engineering over these years.
