Abstract
iPad world and Avatar are a couple of really intriguing technological toys waiting for serious and useful research for their proper allocation in the medical arena. To be added to medical and health-care informatics, the adjectives consumer and personalized will drive much of the upcoming research. In addition, the lifelong PHR will generate similar effects, according to its action lines, both institutional and patient at home. Data noise, de materialization, access policies, digital signature, responsibility remapping, and more, all these make a good arrivederci to the 30th anniversary, ten years from now.
