  • Abstract
    Biosensors and molecular imaging devices are reported. Final goal is to produce biomedical lab-on-chip detection systems by using a single technology where the same material, most probably silicon, will be used both as a mechanical substrate for the microfluidics, as presently done in MEMS, and as an optoelectronic platform for the measurement, enabling unprecedented miniaturization and widespread low-cost diagnosis tools.
