Abstract
For the sensitivity testing of a radio receiver, a generator is described which has a uniform and rotating field around the test point, and makes the positioning of the receiver easier than the conventional method. The region in which the magnetic field strength is within a certain tolerance is represented as a cylindrical space. The response of a ferrite-core loop antenna located in the cylindrical space was measured, and confirmed that a receiver test is able to be carried out independently of the position and the orientation of the core antenna in the receiver.
