Abstract :
A new type of three-phase induction motor excited by a single-phase power supply has been proposed. A small trial motor with six poles was fashioned with an exciting circuit and two parametric oscillation circuits arranged in the stator. A three-phase rotating field has successfully been generated in the stator. The fundamental characteristics of the motor are also being studied
