Abstract :
Fiber-optic transmitters and receivers compatible to surface-mount devices were developed in the bit rate range from 1.5 M to 622 Mb/s. They employ novel electric circuit design such as feed forward temperature compensation, as well as passive alignment technology for optical components. Developed transmitters and receivers are applicable for mass production of SONET/SDH equipment
