I am pleased to have this opportunity to communicate with EE students and to give you a brief history and update of the semiconductor industry. There are six major factors that comprise this business: markets, technology, international business, finance, people, and manufacturing. Here, I would like to capture for you some of the excitement of my vision for the future.
