Abstract
A study is made of the TM- and TE-wave propagation in a periodic layered resonator composed of alternating layers of two different semiconductors. The dispersion dependence for a finite medium and field distributions are obtained. The effect of the dissipation processes on the wave dispersion is considered. The influence of dielectric permittivities of uniform half-spaces on the dispersion dependence of the waves is demonstrated.
