Abstract :
The engineer´s talent for analyzing, planning, and organizing can be a great asset in the preparation of a technical paper or report. To the extent that in either the carrying out of an engineering project or the writing of a technical report, an engineering problem is defined and subsequently solved, project work and manuscript development go hand-in-hand. Planning is the first step in either situation, with some special elements to be considered in the planning of a manuscript.
